So, Windows 7 was crapping up on me. It started a few months back when the “Yellow Notes”-thingie wouldn’t start, but gave an errormsg. Well, for a few weeks more programs have stopped responding: Pidgin and java. And Skype almost always hangs the computer during shut down. Well, I have, on several occasions the last 10 years tried dual booting windows and linux, but always returned to using just Windows after a while. (My history with Linux, started with Red Hat in the ’90 I believe, (though I’m not sure exactly when) after that I’ve tried Debian, Ubuntu and Linux Mint.) This time I thought it was about time taking the plunge and install just Linux!

So, here’s the case. My old man wishes to publish some of his articles in both english and norwegian, and all though Google Translate does a good job in translating, and the GT-plugin in WP is user-friendly, still the translations are not perfect and it takes more time reading an article that has been translated autmagically. So that’s the reason I’m trying out this plugin, qTranslate, to see if this could be an easy solution.. ..we’ll see..
